Brunswick Police responded to a reported assault at 5:48 p.m. on Jan. 8 after a caller said he was preaching at the corner of Pearl and Center roads and was pushed into the roadway by another man, narrowly missing being struck by oncoming traffic. Police reports stated the suspect (described as a Medina man) was allegedly upset over the victim preaching about his opposition to homosexuality, and the suspect was cited for assault and disorderly conduct.
